Tonight's readings:
0 ppm nitrite
<.25 ppm ammonia
Looks like the bacteria that eat up the nitrite are growing nicely. I could add more ammonia, but I think I will wait until tomorrow. Should be down to 0ppm by then.

Dear Scott,
I have an announcement that is perfect for any Aquarium fish blog and I could use YOUR help! I am publishing a website called Fresh Water Hobbyist and it is still under development. I am posting to this blog not for advertisement, but for help. I need all of you smart aquarium hobbyists out there to go to my site, and review it, and correct me where I am wrong and tell me ANYTHING you may have to help. That means suggestions, corrections, additions, and things you think are poorly designed or stupid. I need your specialist opinion. Thanks in advance. All comments can be mailed to marinwebdevelopment@gmail.com which can be found in the "contact Us" section. All quality comments will be offered a free free link in our affiliates section. Thanks a ton in advance to anyone who feels like helping.
Any updated on your saltwater aquarium?

Any new updates any soon? I agree with you that making sure to complete the water cycle is the most important thing to do when setting up a aquarium for the first time.

Josh
you seem very knowledgeable.
Hi
I was wondering whether there was any update on how your tank is doing. I'm hoping it has cycled now given the original post was in 2006.
Its always facisinating to see a new tank settle, and mature.
